Turgeon activated from IR; Valicevic assigned to Utah

Dallas Stars' General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today that the club has recalled center Pierre Turgeon from the injured reserve list and assigned right wing Rob Valicevic to the Utah Grizzlies, the Stars' primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Turgeon, 34, missed two games (Nov. 30-Dec. 4) with a hip strain. The 6-1, 199-pound center has appeared in 21 games with the Stars this season, registering one goal and six assists for seven points.
Valicevic, 32, appeared in seven games for the Stars this season, registering two penalty minutes and four shots on goal.
Turgeon is scheduled to rejoin the Stars (11-12-3-0) for their game Saturday night at San Jose.
