The Dallas Stars announced today that the club has placed forward Tomas Vincour
on injured reserve with a lower body injury, retroactive to Dec. 15. The team also announced that it has activated Adam Burish
from injured reserve.
Vincour, 21, has one goal and two assists in 14 games this season with Dallas. The 6-2, 204-pound forward from Brno, Czech Republic was recalled from the Texas Stars, Dallas' primary affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL), on Nov. 20, 2011. Prior to his call-up by Dallas, Vincour led all Texas Stars in goal scoring with 10 goals in 15 games. He made his NHL debut last season with Dallas, registering one goal and one assist in 24 games with the NHL club.
Burish, 28, has missed the last 15 games after suffering a broken hand against the Florida Panthers on Nov. 15. Prior to his injury, Burish had registered points in six of his last 14 games (3 goals, 4 assists). The 6-0, 191-pound forward has scored eight of his 11 goals as a Dallas Star when the club is either trailing by one goal or tied in the contest. Burish posted new career-highs in goals (8), assists (6) and points (14) last season with Dallas.
