Frisco, Texas - The Dallas Stars announced today that the club has signed forward Matej (Mah-tay) Stransky to a three-year entry-level contract. Stransky, 18, was Dallas' sixth-round selection (No. 165 overall) in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

"We are excited to announce the signing of Matej," Stars General Manager Joe Nieuwendyk said. "His development with Saskatoon over the last two seasons is an encouraging sign of a player who we think has a successful future with the Stars organization."
