The Dallas Stars announced today that the NHL club has recalled center Perttu Lindgren
from the Texas Stars - Dallas' primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). Dallas also announced that center Aaron Gagnon has been reassigned to Texas.
Lindgren, 22, has appeared in six games for Texas this season, scoring two goals and one assist for three points with a +2 rating and two penalty minutes. He spent last season with Lukko Rauma in Finland, with five goals and 19 assists for 24 points in 49 contests. Lindgren was Dallas' third round selection (75th overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
Gagnon was recalled from Texas on October 16 and made his NHL debut that evening vs. the Boston Bruins, going scoreless. He has appeared in five games for Texas, scoring one goal. Gagnon signed as a free agent with Dallas on Feb. 2, 2007.
