Stars Make Additional Roster Moves

FRISCO, Tex.  -- The Dallas Stars announced today that the club has assigned 10 players to the Texas Stars, Dallas’ primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). The club also announced that it has placed center Warren Peters on injured reserve with a fractured orbital bone.


Excluding Peters, the Stars have 25 players currently on their NHL roster.

Saturday vs. St. Louis (7:00 pm, American Airlines Center) – broadcast on Sports Radio 1310 The Ticket

Dallas will travel to Cedar Park, Tex., on Sunday, Sept. 27, and will hold practice at the new Cedar Park Center next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (Sept. 28-30), culminating with the “Bud Light Battle of the Stars” – an exhibition game between the Dallas Stars and the new AHL development team, the Texas Stars (7:00 pm on Sept 30 at Cedar Park Center).

The regular season will open on Saturday, October 3 vs. the Nashville Predators at American Airlines Center.
