2.
Matt Fraser is expected to make his NHL debut on Tuesday night becoming the sixth different player to skate in an NHL game after starting the season with the Texas Stars, Dallas’ primary affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). Richard Bachman, Philip Larsen, Tomas Vincour, Francis Wathier, and Jordie Benn all started the season with the Texas Stars and have appeared in an NHL contest at some point this season.

3.
Tuesday’s game against Anaheim is Dallas’ final game before the NHL All-Star Break. Dallas will resume action on Tuesday, Feb. 1 in Anaheim. The Stars went into the All-Star Break last season with a 30-15-5 record.

4.
The Dallas Stars and Anaheim Ducks have played to 27 consecutive games without either side recording a shutout against one another. The last shutout between these two teams occurred on Nov. 5, 2007 when the Stars shutout the Ducks 5-0. It is the longest span of games the Stars have against any Pacific Division team without a shutout on either side.

5.
The Dallas Stars announced on Monday that the club has placed Brenden Morrow on injured reserve retroactive to Jan. 21 and activated Mike Ribeiro from IR. The club also announced that it has agreed to terms to a four-year contract extension worth $18.4 million ($4.6 million per year) with Alex Goligoski.
