1. The Dallas Stars face the Anaheim Ducks for their fifth meeting of the season. Dallas has a 3-1-0 record against Anaheim in the season series, and a 5-1-2 record against them over their last eight games.

The Stars exit the All-Star Break with 34 games remaining on their regular season schedule. They sit three points behind the final playoff spot, and have games-at-hand over every team above them. Six points separates the seventh place team from the 12th place team with eleven of Dallas’ final 34 games coming against those six clubs fighting for the final two playoff spots.
Brenden Morrow was activated from injured reserve early Tuesday. This marks the first time since Oct. 29, 2011 that the team has not had anyone listed as injured on the roster (includes injured reserve list). Since Oct. 29, the Stars have lost 102 man games to injury and have played without their starting goaltender (Lehtonen), their top-two centers (Ribeiro, Benn), and six different defensemen at varying times this season.
Dallas is set to play their ninth back-to-back set on Wednesday (Anaheim) and Thursday (San Jose). The Stars have an overall record of 3-11-2 in back-to-backs this season with a 3-4-1 on the first day, and a 0-7-1 record on the second day.

The Stars are one of five NHL clubs and the only Pacific Division team that has not lost a game this season when leading after two periods (13-0-0 record).
