Here’s an update on how Dallas Stars prospects playing in juniors, the European leagues and U.S. colleges fared over the past week.
Ontario Hockey League
*LW Remi Elie (second round/2013) tallied six points (two goals, four assists) in three games for the Erie Otters. Elie is on a six-game points streak (four goals, five assists) and has 59 points (25 goals, 34 assists) in 52 games this season.
*C Jason Dickinson (first round/2013) registered two assists in two games for Guelph. Dickinson has 59 points (22 goals, 37 assists) in 46 games, ranking second on the Storm in scoring.
*D Patrick Sanvido (seventh round/2014) tallied his first goal of the season, scoring in Windsor’s 5-4 overtime loss to Guelph on Tuesday. Sanvido has eight points (one goal, seven assists) in 47 games this season.
*G Brent Moran (fourth round/2014) won his only start of the week, stopping 28 of 33 shots as Niagara rallied from a 4-1 deficit to defeat North Bay, 6-5, on Sunday. Moran is 14-17-1 with a 3.55 goals-against average and .892 save percentage.
*D Aaron Haydon (sixth round/2014) did not play this past week due to an upper-body injury.
*D Alex Peters (third round/2014) is out with a knee injury.
Western Hockey League
*LW Cole Ully (fifth round/2013) picked up four points (one goal, three assists) in three games for Kamloops over the past week. Ully ranks seventh in the WHL in scoring with 77 points (29 goals, 48 assists) in 58 games.
*LW Brett Pollock (second round/2014) scored one goal in three games for Edmonton. Pollock leads Edmonton is scoring with 49 points (26 goals, 23 assists) in 55 games.
Quebec Major Junior Hockey League
*G Philippe Desrosiers (second round/2013) lost his only start of the week, stopping 26 of 28 shots in Rimouski’s 2-1 loss to Gatineau on Sunday. Desrosiers is 21-8-3 with a league-best 2.62 goals-against average.
United States Hockey League
*RW Matej Paulovic (fifth round/2013) registered one assist in three games for Muskegon over the past week. Paulovic has 31 points (10 goals, 21 assists) in 37 games.
*D Esa Lindell (third round/2012) scored two goals in three games for Assat in Finland’s top league. Lindell is tied for sixth among league defensemen in scoring with 27 points (11 goals, 16 assists) in 49 games. He ranks second among all players in ice time at 25:00 per game.
*D Aleksi Makela (seventh round/2013) has been out for Ilves in Finland’s top league due to injury but could return this week.
*D Miro Karjalainen (fifth round/2014) is back from a knee injury. He played two games this past week for HIFK in Finnish junior hockey, registering no points. Karjalainen has one assist in ten games this season.
*D Ludwig Bystrom (second round/2012) played three games for Farjestad in Sweden’s top league, registering no points. Bystrom played 19 minutes in two of the games and almost 18 in the third. He has five points (one goal, four assists) in 35 games this season.
*D John Nyberg (sixth round/2014) played one game for Frolunda in Sweden’s top league last week, registering no points. Nyberg has one assist in 16 games for Frolunda this season.
*D Niklas Hansson (third round/2013) had no points in two games for Rogle in Sweden’s second highest league. He played 4:50 in one game, 10:02 in the next and then did not play in Rogle’s third game of the week. He was not out because of injury, according to Rogle’s official site. Hansson has 21 points (two goals, 19 assists) in 45 games.
*LW Emil Molin (fourth round/2011) had one assist in three games for Rogle. Molin has eight assists in 47 games this season.
*D Dmitry Sinitsyn (seventh round/2012) played two games for Dynamo Moscow in Russia’s KHL over the past week and did not score. He has one assist in 13 games.
*C Devin Shore (second round/2012) tallied two goals and two assists in the University of Maine’s 6-4 win over Northeastern on Saturday. Shore, a junior, leads Maine in scoring with 33 points (13 goals, 20 assists) in 34 games.
*D Michael Prapavessis (fourth round/2014) had no points in two games for RPI over the weekend. Prapavessis, a freshman, has five assists in 34 games this season.
