Dallas Stars to Pick 11h in NHL Entry Draft

The Dallas Stars have the 11th overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, determined Tuesday evening in the National Hockey League Draft Drawing. The Edmonton Oilers won the Drawing, giving them the number one overall pick in this year’s draft.

The Stars had a 1.5% chance of winning today’s Drawing, with the opportunity to move up a maximum of four spots to the seventh overall pick.

Dallas Stars hockey personnel are focused on the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, slated for June 25-26 at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. The first round will take place on the evening of June 25 and be televised on VERSUS. Rounds two through seven will take place on Saturday, June 26.

The Stars picked Scott Glennie with the eighth overall selection in last year's draft.
