Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has signed goaltender Henri Kiviaho to a three-year entry level contract. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Kiviaho, 20, split the season between KalPa of Finland's SM-Liiga and their Junior A program. In the SM-Liiga, he appeared in 13 games recording a 2.92 goals against average and a .881 save percentage. In three postseason games, he posted a 4.24 goals against average and a .843 save percentage.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound native of Lappeenranta, Finland was selected by Dallas in the fifth round (144th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.
