Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that forward Colton Sceviour has been reassigned to the Texas Stars, Dallas' development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Sceviour, 24, has registered four points (3-1=4) and a +2 plus/minus rating in eight games with Dallas this season. He scored his first career NHL goal on Dec. 14, 2013 at Winnipeg and two of his three goals have been game-winners.
The 6-foot, 200-pound forward leads the AHL with 21 goals and ranks second on Texas with 35 points (21-14=35) in 29 games. The native of Red Deer, Alta., was selected by Dallas in the fourth round (112th overall) of the 2007 NHL Draft.
