The Dallas Stars announced today the launch of Five Minute Major (5:MM), a new line of Dallas Stars merchandise designed for Stars fans by Stars fans. In conjunction with the Dallas-based design and marketing agency Tractorbeam, the brand will be carried exclusively at Hangar team store locations at American Airlines Center.
"Our goal from the beginning was to design a casual line of clothing that embodied the spirit and passion of the unique hockey culture found in the state of Texas and amongst our loyal fan base," Dallas Stars Chief Revenue Officer Brad Alberts said. "We feel that the final product and the creation of Five Minute Major will resonate with our fans and become a brand they feel comfortable wearing not just at games, but as an everyday option that identifies their connection to the Lone Stars State."
Available for the first time this Saturday, Nov. 22 against the Los Angeles Kings, Five Minute Major brand clothing will be showcased in all Hangar locations throughout American Airlines Center. The initial launch of the clothing line features casual tees for men, women and children in a variety of designs created in partnership with Tractorbeam.
"The Five Minute Major brand reaches beyond the logo to represent our city's passion for hockey and the team through a brand of clothing that emphasizes modern urban style," Tractorbeam Co-Owner Eric Bananti said. "As passionate Dallas Stars fans ourselves, we were excited about the challenge of designing a new line of clothing that is different from anything ever offered by the team before."
