Everyone wants to go out on a positive note. Battling injuries, adversity and fatigue, the Sharks faced a final opponent before Olympic break needing to capture some momentum. Perhaps fitting, it was also a day of milestones and celebration.
Joe Pavelski's hometown honored their hero with "Joe Pavelski Day".

These types of things have not felt like they've gone the Sharks way too often this season.
Perhaps the half-empty takeaway from the game was the Sharks inability to produce on the power play, again, despite many opportunities.
