Tuesday Trivia - 7/17/2012

by Sarah Peters / San Jose Sharks

Tuesday Trivia is a weekly feature of the Daily Chomp. Check back next week for a new question and prize.

On Wednesday, July 11 the Sharks re-signed defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic to a five-year contract extension.  At only 25, Vlasic already ranks 11th in games played in franchise history and his +62 career plus/minus rating ranks second. Vlasic finished third on the team, first among defensemen, with a +11 rating. He has been a double-digit plus player in five out of his six season in the League. He also led the team and was T-12th in the League with 171 blocked shots, including a franchise-record eight blocks on Dec. 23 vs. Los Angeles.

TRIVIA: How many regular season games has Marc-Edouard Vlasic played in the NHL?

(HINT: Check out the official news release of Vlasic's signing)

Prize: Submit your answer in the form below for a chance to win a puck signed by Marc-Edouard Vlasic. Submissions must be received by Thursday, July 19 at 12 p.m. (Pacific).

This trivia contest has ended and is closed for any further submissions.

Last Week's Winner: Last week Kevin P. correctly answered that new Sharks associate coach Larry Robinson has been a part of nine Stanley Cups. For his correct response, Kevin won a puck signed by Robinson.
