Want to be involved with the coolest patrol unit in Silicon Valley? Read on to become part of the Pepsi MAX Tank Patrol, the people who keep fans entertained at San Jose Sharks home games.

The Pepsi MAX Tank Patrol provides a fun and exciting guest experience at all home San Jose Sharks games. The Tank Patrol is responsible for on-ice intermission games and break promotions in the seating area at HP Pavilion. The Tank Patrol will also go out in the public at other Sharks events to bring the ultimate guest experience to that location.

Basic Functions

* Execute sponsored promotions on and off the ice
* Choose participants for in-game contests
* Participates in off-site Sharks game-viewing parties
* Escorts the mascot, S.J. Sharkie, on game night
* Promote a positive fan experience


* Must be 18 years or older by Aug. 1, 2011
* Available for a minimum of 20 home games and all playoff games
* Shifts will begin three hours before the games and end approximately 30 minutes after the game (typically from 4:30-11 p.m.)
* Team player in every sense of the word
* Must be able to pass the California required background check

Necessary Skills

Applicants should posses the following abilities and characteristics:

* Ability to work with people of all ages
* Ability to learn new skills quickly
* Ability to process information in an organized and efficient manner
* Outgoing, enthusiastic personality; enjoys working as a part of a team

Desired Skills

* Being able to think and react quickly in any situation
* Willingness to help others

* Paid hourly

If your skills meet our needs, you may be invited to tryout for the Tank Patrol.
Tryouts will be conducted in early August. Candidates MUST attend the tryout to be considered.
Tryouts will consist of hands-on game situations and an interview process.

Local candidates preferred.
