SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned goaltender Alex Stalock to the Worcester Sharks, the team’s top development affiliate


Stalock , 23, dressed for his first NHL game on Jan. 26 at Los Angeles, backing up Antti Niemi.

He has posted a 17-17-4 record with a 2.65 goals against average and a .907 save percentage with Worcester this season. In 2009-10, Stalock set an AHL rookie record by recording 39 wins, played in the 2010 AHL All-Star Game and was named to the AHL All-Rookie Team.

The 6-foot, 185-pound native of St. Paul, Minnesota was selected by San Jose in the fourth round (112th overall) of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

#14 Jonathan Cheechoo- Worcester Sharks special IceCats game worn jersey worn by Sharks forward and top goal scorer Jonathan Cheechoo. The native of Moose Factory, Ontario has played in 501 regular season games in the NHL compiling 170 goals and 135 assists for a total of 305 points. He played 440 games with the San Jose Sharks recording 291 points (166-126-291) in 2002 through 2009. Cheechoo led the NHL in goals scored (56) during the 2005-06 season winning the Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy. He was originally drafted by the San Jose Sharks in the 2nd round (29th overall) in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. Rebook jersey size 58 with a Worcester V logo and Worcester shield on shoulders.

#21 Benn Ferriero- Worcester Sharks special IceCats game issued jersey worn by Sharks forward Benn Ferriero, originally drafted by Phoenix in the 2006 draft before being acquired by San Jose. Tallied a team high ten goals in the first nine games with Worcester to start the season. Has four goals and four assists in 26 games with San Jose this season. #27 Justin Braun- Worcester Sharks special IceCats game worn jersey by Sharks rookie defenseman and UMASS-Amherst alum, Justin Braun. Originally drafted by San Jose in the 7th round of the 2009 NHL entry draft. Has played in his first 15 games in the NHL this season with San Jose scoring his first NHL goal and adding eight assists. Has two goals and 11 assists in 24 games with Worcester this season. Reebok jersey size 58 with a Worcester V logo and Worcester shield on shoulders.

# 44 Jamie McGinn-
Worcester Sharks home white jersey worn by Sharks forward Jamie McGinn in the 2008-09 season. He was originally drafted by the San Jose Sharks in the 2nd round (36th overall) in 2006 draft. Jamie scored 19 goals with Worcester in 2008-09 and led the club with eight power play goals. Former captain of the Ottawa 67’s in the OHL. Jamie is currently playing for the San Jose Sharks in the NHL. Rebook jersey size 58 with All Star Patch on right sleeve, Shield logo on left sleeve, a couple of very small holes on each sleeve, and tape marks near waist.
