Sharks To Open Training Camp On Sept. 13

The San Jose Sharks will open Training Camp for the 2007-08 season on Sept. 13, when players are scheduled to report for their physicals. Rookie hopefuls and veteran superstars alike will undergo three days of intense on-ice practices, dry land training and intersquad scrimmages before the annual Teal & White game on Sept. 17.

The Sharks will open their preseason schedule on Sept. 18, traveling to Southern California for a pair of back-to-back games, first against the Los Angeles Kings, then the defending Stanley Cup Champion Anaheim Ducks. On Sept. 21, the Sharks and the Ducks will clash again, this time in the friendly confines of HP Pavilion at San Jose. The following night, the Sharks play host to the defending Northwest Division Champion Vancouver Canucks.

The Sharks make their second, two-game road trip of the preseason, traveling to Calgary for a meeting with the Flames on Sept. 25 before continuing on to Vancouver on Sept. 26. Team Teal concludes their preseason schedule with their seventh game in 12 nights on Sept. 29, hosting the Flames.
