by Staff Writer / San Jose Sharks
San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has recalled left wing Patrick Rissmiller from the Cleveland Barons, the Sharks top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.

Rissmiller is second on the Barons with 52 points (15 goals, 37 assists) while playing in all of Cleveland’s 68 games. In January, he was selected to Team USA for the 2006 Rbk Hockey All-Star Classic and also became the leading scorer in Barons franchise history with 167 points.

He played in four games with San Jose in 2003-04, becoming the first Holy Cross and MAAC alumni to play in an NHL game

The six-foot-four, 205-pound native of Belmont, Mass. was originally signed by San Jose as a free agent on June 30, 2003.
