Sharks Reassign Freddie Hamilton to Worcester

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned forward Freddie Hamilton to the Worcester Sharks.

Hamilton, 23, leads Worcester in points (21) and ranks tied for fifth on the team in goals (6). He has played in 12 career NHL games, all with the Sharks, registering 13 shots.

In 172 career games with the Worcester Sharks, Hamilton has posted 90 points (41 goals, 49 assists) and 30 penalty minutes.

The six-foot-one, 195-pound native of Toronto, Ontario, was originally drafted by San Jose in the fifth round (129th overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft.
