Sharks Game April 4 To Be Joined In Progress

by Staff Writer / San Jose Sharks
The San Jose Sharks/Anaheim Ducks contest, scheduled for FSN Plus on Wednesday, April 4 at 7 p.m., will be joined-in-progress at the conclusion of the Warriors/Rockets game (approximately at 8:00 P.M.).  Sharks/Ducks game updates will be given throughout the Warriors telecast.  The Warriors/Rockets and Sharks/Ducks telecasts will be replayed in their entirety on Thursday, April 5th at 10:30 A.M. and 12:30 P.M.
San Jose worked with their broadcast partner FSN Bay Area to allow the conclusion of the Warriors game to air, much in the same way the Sharks would like to see the conclusion of their own important late season games air.  If the Warriors game in not relavent to the NBA playoff race, the Sharks game could still be viewed in its entirety.
“FSN Bay Area is thrilled to add this crucial Warriors game to its schedule as they make a run towards a berth in the NBA Playoffs,” said Griggs.  “We’d like to thank our partners at the Sharks for accommodating the telecast and we look forward to Bay Area hockey and basketball playoffs in the coming weeks.”
“The San Jose Sharks and our fans are very excited about the upcoming NHL playoffs and the race for the Stanley Cup,” said Bordelon.  “We know the Warriors and their fans are equally excited with the Warriors in the battle for the NBA Playoffs.  The Warriors game on April 4th may be key in determining their potential playoff standing and the game is of specific and unique interest to their fans.  This arrangement allows for Warrior fans to watch the conclusion of their game vs. Houston.  We know if the situation were reversed the Warriors would do the same for the Sharks.  We wish the Warriors the best of luck in their playoff push. Hopefully Sharks fans will be cheering for the Warriors at the end of their game and Warriors fans will stay tuned and cheer on the Sharks.”
“The Golden State Warriors are happy that our tremendous Bay Area fan base will have the opportunity to watch this important road contest as our team continues its run towards the playoffs,” said Rowell.  “With the growing buzz surrounding the late-season success of both the Warriors and Sharks, this is a very exciting time on the Bay Area sports scene. We appreciate the continued efforts that FSN Bay Area has made to bring as much of this excitement as possible to the local fans.”
