Sharks Assign Matt Tennyson to San Jose Barracuda on a Conditioning Assignment

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has assigned defenseman Matt Tennyson (@Tenner_7) to the San Jose Barracuda (@sjbarracuda) of the American Hockey League (@theAHL) on a conditioning assignment.

Tennyson, 25, has appeared in 29 games with San Jose this season, scoring one goal and three assists. In three games with the Barracuda, he has recorded seven shots on goal.

The six-foot-two, 205-pound native of Minneapolis, MN, was signed by San Jose as a free agent on March 29, 2012.
