Prospects Scrimmage Collection Drive

by Staff Writer / San Jose Sharks

The summer months often mean summer camp and outdoor activities for many children and the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) gives kids with neuromuscular disease the same opportunity through their annual MDA Summer Camp. With many vital medical and camp supplies needed, the Sharks Foundation has partnered with the MDA to host its first-ever summer collection drive at the Sharks Prospects Summer Scrimmage on Thursday, July 9 at SAP Center.

Suggested donation items include:

Bug Spray
Arts and Crafts Items
Outdoor Games
First Aid Items
Hand Sanitizer
Monetary Donations

Volunteers from the MDA will be on hand to collect items as you enter the North and South doors in exchange for raffle tickets for a chance to win great Sharks prizes! The items will be redistributed to MDA’s San Francisco chapter of camp from July 27 to August 1. If you are unable to attend the Prospects Scrimmage, you can help by making a donation through the MDA Camp Wish List Online:
