After a lengthy road trip, the San Jose Sharks are back in town and the Sharks Foundation is busier than ever! Take a look at what the Sharks Foundation will be hosting from Thursday, November 20 through Wednesday, November 26:

Thursday, November 20 – Panthers vs. Sharks

As fans walk through the doors of SAP Center this Thursday they will be greeted by Sharks Foundation staff and volunteers, as part of our annual Second Harvest Food Bank Collection Drive. The Sharks Foundation encourages hockey fans to engage in the spirit of giving by bringing non-perishable foods or monetary donations, in exchange for raffle tickets, for a chance to win great Sharks prizes! All non-perishable goods and monetary donations benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. Fans can then make their way to the Sharks Foundation booth at section 118 on the Concourse Level to place their blind bid on custom Sharks Veterans Day jerseys worn and signed by members of the 2014-15 team. Friday, November 21 – Comerica Bank Book Drive Benefitting Reading Is Cool Presented By Comerica Bank

Stop by Comerica Bank’s Los Gatos branch Friday for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet Sharks netminder Alex Stalock! Fans who bring new or gently used children’s books or make a monetary donation of any kind between the hours of 3:30-4:30 p.m. will have the chance to meet No. 32. Comerica Bank’s Los Gatos branch is located at Plaza de Los Gatos Shopping Center, 444 N. Santa Cruz Ave., Los Gatos, CA 95030.

Saturday, November 22 – Coyotes vs. Sharks

There will be a second chance for fans to bring non-perishable foods or make monetary donations, in exchange for raffle tickets, for a chance to win Sharks prizes on Saturday! Your non-perishable goods or monetary donations will support Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. Mystery Pucks are also back Saturday! Be sure to purchase your Thanksgiving Mystery Pucks for $20 each at one of our tables on the Concourse Level of SAP Center at both the North and South Entrances. Net proceeds will benefit this season’s Sharks Foundation Grant Recipients and community programming. Arrive early because these pucks are sure to go fast! These pucks will be available again on Wednesday, November 26. Last, but not least, don’t forget to visit the Sharks Foundation booth at section 118 on the Concourse Level to place your blind bid on the second half of the Sharks Veterans Day Jerseys! Bidding closes at the end of the first intermission.
