He started San Jose’s comeback against the Los Angeles Kings on Monday night, scored the deciding goal in the shootout and now Sharks left wing Ryane Clowe
will be the featured player on our weekly segment of Ask the Sharks
If you have a question that you have always wanted to ask the six-foot-two native of Fermeuse, Newfoundland, send it in to firstname.lastname@example.org
. We’ll search through all the submissions and choose the best ones to ask ‘Clowie’.
Check SJSHARKS.com on Sunday, December 28 to see Clowe’s answers to the questions we chose.
Since being drafted by San Jose in the sixth round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, the 26-year-old has made his way up the ranks of the Sharks organization with iron fists and soft hands. Clowe has scored 69 points (32-27=69) in 121 games and shown he’s not afraid to drop the gloves by racking up 136 penalty minutes over four seasons.
Wonder where Clowe got his toughness from? His father Tony works on a fishing boat in Newfoundland and his grandfather had one arm, but drove a truck for a living.
Off the ice, Clowe enjoys watching the TV show Entourage, eating at Forbes Mill Steakhouse in Los Gatos and vacationing in Las Vegas.
