This has been a wild week for Eager. After finishing out a four-game suspension for punching Toronto’s Colby Armstrong on Jan. 7, the 26-year-old was acquired by the Sharks on Tuesday. That night, he packed up his things and flew out to San Jose and then joined the Sharks for practice on Wednesday. Following practice, he’ll join the team as they fly out to Vancouver for a game against the Canucks on Thursday. That same night, they’ll fly back to San Jose, practice on Friday and then play again on Saturday at home against Minnesota.
And you thought you had a lot to do this week.
The 6-foot-2, 235 pound native of Ottawa, Ontario is a former first round draft pick (23rd overall in 2002 by Phoenix) and Stanley Cup winner (last season with Chicago). He will add grit and strength to the Sharks third or fourth lines and fans can expect him to exercise his muscle at HP Pavilion. Click here
