AHL All-Star Game Featured on CSN-CA

Sharks prospects Logan Couture, Alex Stalock (pictured above) and Danny Groulx will represent the Worcester Sharks in the 2010 Time Warner Cable AHL All-Star Classic on Tuesday at 3:00 PM (Pacific) on CSN-California in HD.

Couture, a 20-year-old center from London, Ontario, leads the AHL in rookie scoring with 16 goals and 26 assists in 31 games while Groulx, a 28-year-old defenseman from LaSalle, Quebec, is tops in AHL defensemen scoring at the All-Star break. Stalock, a 22-year-old goaltender from South St. Paul Minnesota, has won nine of his last 11 decisions and currently leads the AHL in victories (23-10-1).

Stalock will play for the PlanetUSA AHL All-Stars while Couture and Stalock will represent the Canadian AHL All-Stars.

The 2010 Time Warner Cable AHL All-Star Classic will feature the top talent in the American Hockey League. Of the 492 players to take part in the AHL All-Star Classic since 1995, more than 94 percent have competed in the National Hockey League, including Patrice Bergeron, Brad Boyes, Dan Boyle, Daniel Briere, Brian Campbell, Zdeno Chara, Rick DiPietro, Miikka Kiprusoff, Kari Lehtonen, Ryan Miller, Zach Parise, Bobby Ryan, Martin St. Louis, Jason Spezza, Eric Staal and Tomas Vokoun.
