Sens season-seat holder event off

by Staff Writer / Ottawa Senators
(UPDATE: Due to the number of Senators players who are sick with the flu, the season-seat holder event scheduled for Sunday at Scotiabank Place has been cancelled).

It's a unique opportunity for Ottawa Senators season-seat holders.

The Senators will be holding their first Season Seat Holder Appreciation Day on Sunday, with a number of activities planned to provide an exclusive opportunity to "go behind the scenes" at Scotiabank Place. It is open to any season-seat holders who have renewed their seats for the 2010-11 regular season, with each account holder receiving four passes to the day proceedings.

You'll have a chance to meet Senators players, tour the team's dressing room, take part in some interactive games or perhaps score a bargain at a game-used equipment sale being held at Gate 1 of Scotiabank Place. There are also good deals to be had at The Sens Store, which is offering a number of items at a 30 per cent discount during this event.

The appreciation day event runs from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., with the entire Senators team meeting and greeting season-seat holders and their guests between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

At 4 p.m., fans can join in a town hall featuring Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson and alternate captains Mike Fisher and Chris Phillips. They'll take questions between 4 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. Seating will be available in sections 101, 201 and surrounding sections as warranted.
