Let's take a brief moment to pan around the world of hockey and see how Senators prospects and affiliates are faring in their playoff quests.
Ben Harpur - Harpur was a minus-1 for the Guelph Storm on Tuesday in a 5-2 loss to the Erie Otters. Despite the loss, the Storm still have a commanding 3-1 series lead over Erie and will look to close out the series win on Friday night in Guelph. Through 14 games, Harpur has a goal and four points and a plus-15 rating, which is the highest amongst Guelph blueliners.
Curtis Lazar - Lazar was a plus-1 and recorded a minor penalty on Wednesday in a 4-1 Oil Kings win, one day after being named the second star of the game and scoring Edmonton's lone goal in a 2-1 loss to the Medicine Hat Tigers on Tuesday night. The Oil Kings now lead the series by a 3-1 margin. With Tuesday's goal, Lazar picked up his 47th career playoff point for Edmonton to become the modern franchise's all-time leader in playoff games, playoff goals and playoff points. Game five is played Saturday in Edmonton.
