The Sens will get a rematch they weren't necessarily expecting a week ago but will welcome when they take on Ben Bishop
's Tampa Bay Lightning tonight at the Tampa Bay Times Forum. Craig Anderson
will get the start in goal for the Sens as they look to get back in the win column after dropping four straight.
No changes to the lineup from Sunday's loss to Florida, which was, all told, a decent game played by the Sens. The process was there but it didn't translate to the scoresheet as they ran into a hot Panthers goalie in Scott Clemmensen who was very much up to the task.
Coach MacLean is obviously happy enough with his team's performance to keep the lineup intact. Here's what they'll look like to start...
Latendresse - Turris - Alfredsson
Conacher - Zibanejad - Silfverberg
Greening - Smith - Neil
Kassian - Regin - Condra
Gryba - Methot
Benoit - Phillips
Wiercioch - Gonchar
The Sens and Lightning have each won a game this season. You'll recall that the Sens bust out of the gate two weeks back against Tampa and took an early 4-0 lead before the Lightning clawed their way back to a 5-3 final. Scoring hasn't been an issue for either team as they have each scored nine over the two games.
Expect Tampa's lethal top line to face a lot of Zack Smith's line as they look to keep Steven Stamkos and Martin St-Louis in check. Having Vinny Lecavalier kicking around doesn't hurt either, though his production is not what it once was.
Here's how Tampa will line up.
Pouliot - Stamkos - St Louis
Pyatt - Thompson - Crombeen
Killorn - Lecavalier - Purcell
Connolly - Johnson - Panik
Carle - Salo
Aulie - Brewer
Barbiero - Gudas
Puck drop in Tampa is set for 7:30 pm.
