It'll be a big game tonight when the Sens and Leafs square off for the fifth and final time this season. Toronto has taken three of the four games this year, so the Sens will be particularly amped to bring one back in what is sure to be a buzzing atmosphere.
The Sens will keep the bulk of their lineup from their previous four games in tact with one change. Matt Kassian will draw back into the squad with Guillaume Latendresse checking out. The Sens would clearly like some more grit in there given the way Toronto has played their opponents this season.
No Erik Karlsson for those of you who were shaking in your chairs waiting to find out if maybe, just maybe, this miracle recovery could go that much further.
Here's how the lineup will look to start...
Michalek - Turris - Alfredsson
Conacher - Zibanejad - Silfverberg
Kassian - Smith - Neil
Greening - Pageau - Condra
Phillips - Methot
Gryba - Cowen
Wiercioch - Gonchar
The Leafs are scuffling of late and did not take to the ice this morning in Ottawa. Whether or not they make any changes to their lineup remains to be seen. One of their top defencemen, Carl Gunnarsson, has been out with a lingering hip issue but may actually play tonight against the Sens. The Leafs have also shuffled forwards Clarke MacArthur and Matt Frattin in and out of the lineup; whether one or both plays tonight is currently unknown.
Here's how (it is assumed) Toronto will line up tonight...
van Riemsdyk - Bozak - Kessel
Lupul - Kadri - Kulemin
MacArthur - Grabovski - Komarov
McLaren - McClement - Orr
Gunnarsson - Phaneuf
Fraser - Franson
Liles - O'Byrne
The Sens are 4-6-0 against the Leafs under Paul MacLean.
