The Ottawa Senators' development camp came to an end on Wednesday morning with the final 3-on-3 round robin tournament at Bell Sensplex.
After some great play by all, Team Black met Team White in the final. The game went scoreless through regulation time and overtime, and needed a shootout to decide the winner.
After 11 consecutive saves by goaltender Brian Elliott, centre Matt McIlvane, the sixth shooter for the black team, slipped a goal past Elliott to end the game and give Team Black the victory.
Danny Bois, Eric Condra, Eric Gryba and McIlvane played for the winning side. Brian Elliott allowed only seven goals to win the goaltending competition.
Following the camp, several awards were handed out. Colin Greening won the Hardest Worker Award, while Danny Bois and Josh Hennessy were inducted into the Development Camp Hall Of Fame as players who have participated in a development camp and played at least one game with the Senators.
