Sens prospect Francis Perron has been named the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's first star of the week for the week ending November 1st. Perron currently leads the QMJHL in scoring with 34 points (15 goals, 19 assists) in 16 games played.

In 3 games, Perron scored 3 goals, added 6 assists and maintained a rating of +7. Friday, he was named the second star with 4 assists in a 5-2 victory over the Saint John Sea Dogs. Against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles on Sunday, Perron recorded his fifth career 4 points game in a 6-5 win in overtime. He assisted on the game-winning goal to give his team an eighteenth consecutive game without a loss. He now leads the League with 34 points.
Perron was selected 190th overall in the 7th round of the 2014 NHL draft by the Senators. Last season he registered new career QMJHL highs in goals (29), assists (47), points (76) and penalty minutes (39) and finished tied for second among Huskies with seven points (3 goals, 4 assists) over six playoff games.
Perron and the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies' next game is this Saturday against the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada.
