by Staff Writer / Ottawa Senators

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) announced today that the club has recalled forward Mark Stone from its American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

A Winnipeg native, Stone is being recalled to Ottawa for the second time this season. In seven games with the Senators since his initial recall on Dec. 31, 2013, he has two points, including his first National Hockey League goal on Jan. 4 in Ottawa’s 4-3 overtime victory at Montreal.

The 22-year-old has recorded 38 points (15 goals, 23 assists) in 35 AHL games with the B-Sens this season. His 15 goals match a professional career high, established with Binghamton last season.

The Senators next see action on Monday when they visit the Tampa Bay Lightning at 7:30 p.m.
