Getting to know... Cody Ceci

by Chris Lund / Ottawa Senators

During this summer's development camp, Sens TV and Inside the Senate once again (triumphantly) joined forces and sat down with some of the Sens top prospects. Now, ahead of this year's training camp and pre-season, we're going to give you a chance to get to know them before they roll back into town.

Up first is 2012 first round pick Cody Ceci. As many are aware, Ceci played the majority of his junior career with the Ottawa 67's before a mid-season trade to the Owen Sound Attack where he wrapped up his time in the OHL. After their second round elimination, he joined the Binghamton Senators for the tail end of their season and playoff run.

Here's what Sens Director of Player Personnel Pierre Dorion had to say to about Ceci's time in the AHL:

"The way he played for us in Binghamton at the end of the year and in the playoffs, he was probably our best defenseman," Dorion said. "No, let me rephrase that. He was our best defenseman.

"He stepped in and just controlled games at times."

Here's your chance to get to know a little bit more about Cody Ceci...
