With just hours between us and a rematch of last season's first round playoff tilt between the Sens and Rangers, it's time to take a look at today's pre-game materials.
Above we have Gord Wilson speaking with Marc Methot. Marc will be playing in his 300th NHL game tonight and against his former Blue Jackets teammate and fellow London Knights alumnus, Rick Nash. The Sens didn't have to face Nash last time around so he will be a brand new test.
Up next is Mr. Wilson's game preview. Tonight's game is a crucial one for the Sens who really need to get the ball rolling before they get back home to face Boston on Monday. Home ice success has been consistent thus far in 2013 but you can't take anything for granted in a shortened season. A win tonight would make four points from a five game road trip, which is much more tolerable than the current alternatives.
It's the Sens first trip back to MSG since the series ended in game seven last year so the reception will be interesting.
Chris Phillips talks about the necessity of picking up points and reflects on the first half of the season.
