Game Day 5: Sens vs Red Wings

We've got 5 things to help you get ready to watch the Sens host the Detroit Red Wings tonight at Canadian Tire Centre.

1. Line-up

Some line-up notes from the coach...

  • Mark Borowiecki returns to the line-up tonight after missing the last two games. Borowiecki fell awkwardly into the board in Columbus but was said to have felt no concussion symptoms.
  • Chris Wideman comes out to make room.

2. Goalies

Craig Anderson is set to start his 4th game in a row tonight. Andy's been real good in his last 2 games having stopped 68 of the last 71 shots he's faced. Andrew Hammond will once again back him up.

At the other end of the ice it will be Petr Mrazek starting in goal for the Red Wings.

3. Last meeting

It's been just 10 days since these teams last met with the Red Wings earning a 3-1 win in Detroit. Zack Smith scored the lone goal for the Sens while Dion Phaneuf made his Ottawa Senators debut after being acquired in a 9 player trade the day before.
