OTTAWA - Following their 6-4 win over the New York Rangers on Thursday night, the Ottawa Senators have reassigned centre Josh Hennessy to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.
The 21-year-old Hennessy received his fourth emergency call-up of the season on Jan. 9. In a total of 10 games with the Senators, Hennessy has scored one goal, had six shots and four penalty minutes.
Binghamton's next game is tonight, when they host the Hershey Bears. The Senators are in seventh place in the AHL's East Division with 11 wins, 22 losses and four overtime losses for 26 points in 37 games.
