OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators reduced their training camp roster by four players today.

Three players were assigned to attend the training camp of the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators, which opened on Sept. 16 at Binghamton’s Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. One of the players will return to his major junior team.

The group headed to Binghamton includes left winger Josh Hennessy, defenceman Derek Smith and centre Martin St. Pierre. Returning to his Quebec Major Junior Hockey League team is left winger Mike Hoffman of the Saint John Sea Dogs.

The Senators camp roster is now comprised of 28 players: three goaltenders, nine defencemen and 16 forwards.
