On Friday, Sept. 11, 36 staff and players will take part in the 16th annual Bell/Ottawa Senators Charity Golf Classic at The Kanata Lakes Golf & Country Club. Interviews on Friday will take place at the golf course until 9:40 a.m., prior to the 10 a.m. shotgun start. Players report for medicals and physical fitness testing at Scotiabank Place on Saturday, Sept. 12. The on-ice sessions begin at Scotiabank Place on Sunday, Sept. 13, at 10 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
The training camp includes six pre-season games – three at Scotiabank Place and the others in Montreal, Halifax and Regina. The regular-season opener is on Saturday, Oct. 3, in New York against the Rangers. The first home game is Thursday, Oct. 8, against the New York Islanders at 7 p.m.
