OTTAWA – The Ottawa Senators announced today their 2009-10 pre-season schedule, which includes three home games, one road match and two neutral-site meetings.

The first neutral-site game takes place Tuesday, Sept. 15, in Halifax, where the Senators have made six pre-season visits previously. Their last match was a 3-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006. The second game will see the Sens take on the Tampa Bay Lightning in Regina on Monday, Sept. 21. The meeting marks the first time in franchise history the team will play in Regina.

Ottawa’s hometown crowd will get their first chance to see the 2009-10 Senators on Wednesday, Sept. 16, when they play the Florida Panthers at Scotiabank Place. They’ll then host the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, Sept. 19, and the Boston Bruins on Friday, Sept. 25, to wrap up their pre-season schedule.
