Bulletin: Redden sprains left knee at practice

Defenceman out of the line-up for a minimum one week

OTTAWA - Ottawa Senators defenceman Wade Redden sprained his left knee this morning at the team's 11 a.m. practice at the Corel Centre.

Redden will be out of the lineup for a minimum of a week, missing at least four games: against the New York Islanders in Uniondale, N.Y., on Friday, Nov. 25; at the Corel Centre versus the Boston Bruins on Saturday, Nov. 26, and the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday, Nov. 29; and in Boston on Thursday, Dec. 1.

After 19 games this season, Redden leads team defencemen in points with four goals and 17 assists, and is second on the club in the plus-minus rating at +19.
