Bulletin: Fewer than 4,000 tickets available for tomorrow’s game against Carolina

by Staff Writer / Ottawa Senators
OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators announced today that fewer than 4,000 tickets remain for tomorrow’s 7 p.m. home game against the Carolina Hurricanes, including 250 seats in the Coke Zero Zone priced at only $17 including taxes.

Tomorrow’s game marks the first of four contests (and the first of two in Ottawa) against the 2008-09 Eastern Conference finalists. The Hurricanes are led offensively by Ray Whitney, who has tallied five points in his last three games and has totalled 20 points on the season. Goaltender Cam Ward, a former Conn Smythe Trophy winner, has recently returned from injury, while team captain Eric Staal is also back in the Hurricanes lineup after missing 10 games.

Saturday’s game will be sponsored by Metro and serves as the Senators’ annual Toy Drive game, which provides fans with the opportunity to donate unwrapped toys in support of the Majic 100/CTV Toy Mountain 2009 upon entry.

Tickets for all December and January home games are now on sale and can be purchased by visiting, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at The Sens Store at Rideau Centre and Place d’Orléans; at any Ottawa Sports Experts location and at the Scotiabank Place box office.
