by Staff Writer / Ottawa Senators
OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators announced today that fewer than 3,000 tickets remain for Saturday’s 2 p.m. Halloween-day game against the Atlanta Thrashers at Scotiabank Place. Halloween-themed music, videos and promotions will take place during play stoppages, while prizes for the best costumes will be awarded during the third period.

The Thrashers, who will be making their second and final regular-season visit to Ottawa on Saturday, are captained by three-time NHL All-Star Ilya Kovalchuk, who currently ranks second (tied) for the NHL league lead in goals with nine. The Senators defeated Atlanta 4-2 on Oct. 10 at Scotiabank Place.

The matinee Halloween game against Atlanta is a SUBWAY Savings game. Fans can receive a 20per cent discount on regular-priced tickets, including more than 150 seats in the Coke Zero Zone priced at only $14 including taxes.

Tickets for all November home games are now on sale and can be purchased by visiting, by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 1-877-788-FANS (3267); in person at The Sens Store at Rideau Centre and Place d’Orléans; at any Ottawa Sports Experts location and at the Scotiabank Place box office.
