Yes. Seattle has been accepted by the NHL as the League's 32nd franchise. Play will begin in the 2021-22 NHL Season.

Fans were the most important factor in the 2021 decision. The New Arena at Seattle Center development timeline to open for the 2020 season was aggressive, left little margin for error and had the potential for an unfavorable home game schedule. NHL and NHL Seattle Ownership determined the 2021 franchise launch was the best course of action. We are committed to delivering a world-class arena experience and this timeline allows us to do that.

While we don't currently have merchandise available, we will have limited merchandise available for purchase following our team name/logo announcement this fall.

Season tickets are upper and lower level seat locations.

  • Price savings over individual game tickets

  • Same seat for 41 regular season home games, plus preseason home games

Club season tickets are center ice, lower level with additional benefits:

  • Preferred parking

  • Private club access

  • First priority access to select events at the new arena

Yes. At the time season ticket seats are selected, you can request and receive a refund of your deposit if you do not want to purchase season tickets.
