Thursday's show featured a 'Franchise Four' discussion intertwined with several guests involved with youth hockey. Much of the 'Four' debate focused on the blue line between Phil Housley and Mike Ramsey. Ramsey won the day over the soon to be Hall of Famer. Former Buff State head coach Nick Carriere (father is Larry) joined the show to talk about his new job as an assistant with St. John in the AHL. We were also joined by Jason Jerome from Impact Sports Performance and Pat Oliveto from the Academy of Hockey with advice for youth hockey players. Jerome shared new research results on when is the right age an right type of off ice workouts for kids, while Oliveto spoke the virtues of choosing the college route.
