The Buffalo Sabres are raising awareness and showing the WNY community how important issues are that affect women and girls by supporting the WNY Women’s Fund – the organization that invests in solutions to issues and needs of special significance to women and girls.
On Monday, Mar. 10 during the Sabres home contest against the New York Rangers in HSBC Arena, fans can take part in the "Pink Hat Surprise" for a $20 donation to the Buffalo Sabres Foundation and WNY Women's Fund.
Sabres staff members will be located at tables throughout the HSBC Arena pavilion from 5:00 p.m. until the last hat is sold. Each of the 500 available hats are signed by a Sabres player with fans being "surprised" by who's autograph they receive by choosing at random.
A special thanks to the New Era Cap Company for generously donating all the hats.
