It's another quiet Sunday for the Buffalo Sabres, but the team did make one move with forward Tim Schaller being assigned to the AHL's Rochester Americans.

Schaller made his NHL debut on Saturday, recording one shot on goal in 11:52 of ice time (16 shifts) during Buffalo's 4-3 shootout win in Montreal. The 24-year-old Schaller skated six shifts in the third period, including three in the game's final five minutes.

Schaller has 15 points (6+9) in 20 games for Rochester this season, including a five-point game (2+3) against Utica on November 21.

The Sabres will return to the ice on Monday morning for practice at First Niagara Center. Buffalo's next game is Tuesday when they host the Tampa Bay Lightning in a 7:30 p.m. start on the NBC Sports Network.
