SABRES RECALL MARK MANCARI FROM PORTLAND

Buffalo Sabres GM Darcy Regier announced today that forward Mark Mancari has been recalled from the AHL's Portland Pirates.

This is the second recall of the season for Mancari (7/11/1985, 6'3", 225 lbs.), who is currently third in AHL scoring with 64 points (32+32) in 56 games. The 25-year-old Mancari was the AHL’s Player of the Month for January when he totaled 13 goals and eight assists, and was a plus-10 in 15 games. In 19 career NHL games with the Sabres, Mancari has 6 points (2+4).

Mancari was Buffalo’s seventh-round choice (207th overall) in the 2004 Entry Draft.
