Friday's radio broadcast of the Buffalo Sabres and Carolina Hurricanes game will mark the debut of the Sabres Radio Network. Listeners across Western New York and the Southern Tier will now be able to hear Rick Jeanneret and Jim Lorentz call the action of every Buffalo Sabres game, home and away. WGR Sports Radio 550 in Buffalo will be the flagship station.

The Sabres Radio Network is comprised of four stations - WROC 950 AM (Rochester), WBTA 1490 AM (Batavia), WKSN 1340 AM (Jamestown) and WMXO 101.5 FM (Olean). WBTA in Batavia may face scheduling conflicts with high school sporting events.

"This is an exciting time to be a Sabres fan," said WGR Program Director Andy Roth. "We're thrilled to be able to share this excitement with Sabres fans down the I-90 corridor and into the Southern Tier."
