The Buffalo Sabres, in partnership with Upstate New York Transplant Services (UNYTS), will be holding a Blood Drive on Monday, March 2 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in the HSBC Arena Pavilion.

The first 500 who present to donate will receive an autographed Buffalo Sabres hockey puck autographed by a Sabres player. There will be a kids area, free cholesterol screening, and visits from Sabretooth and Perry Winkle of Perry’s Ice Cream. To schedule an appointment to donate blood please visit or call 716-512-7940. Photo ID is required and walk-ins are welcome.

Headquartered in Buffalo and established in 1981, Upstate New York Transplant Services is among the leading procurement organizations in the United States, and is the only organization of its kind nationwide to offer opportunities for organ, eye, tissue and blood donation. By donating blood to Upstate New York Transplant Services, you are making sure that your family, friends and neighbors have blood available when they need it. Blood donated to UNYTS goes to local patients in need at local hospitals.

Upstate New York Transplant Services, a not-for-profit organization, serves the eight counties of Western New York and is part of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. It works to assist donor families, coordinate the clinical donation process and increase knowledge and awareness within the community regarding organ, eye, tissue and community blood donation.
